On the afternoon of March 5th, 2025, in Vung Tau City, Tan Phuoc Thinh Construction and Investment Joint Stock Company was honored to attend the inauguration ceremony of the PVDrilling office building, which is a project for TPT company is the main contractor. The event was attended by Mr. Pham Van Triem – Chairman of the Board of Tan Phuoc Thinh Construction and Investment JSC., along with leaders of PetroVietnam Drilling and Well Services Corporation (PV Drilling) and PVD Offshore Technical Services Company Limited (PVD Offshore – the building investor and also the unit performing the operation and management of the building) and related units.

Tan Phuoc Thinh – Reliable partner in major projects
As the main contractor for the PVDrilling office building, Tan Phuoc Thinh Construction and Investment JSC., has completed the project on schedule, ensured quality and labor safety according to the investor’s strict standards. TPT has extensive experience in the field of industrial, petroleum and gas construction. It implemented the project methodically, applied modern technical solutions to optimize construction efficiency.

Since the project’s commencement date (January 2th, 2024) up to now, after 14 months of serious, dedicated, professional working and ensuring safety, TPT ‘s staffs has implemented the project “Construction of PV Drilling office building in Vung Tau city” 1 month ahead of schedule compared to the plan successfully.
At the ceremony, Mr. Tran Thanh Tan (Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Corporation, Chairman of the Board, Director of PVD Offshore) expressed his gratitude to TPT for its continuous efforts throughout the project implementation process. He emphasized that “Tan Phuoc Thinh has not been afraid of difficulties, made every effort, coordinated promptly and effectively with the Investor so that the project was completed ahead of schedule, ensuring quality, safety and compliance with State regulations.” He also highly appreciated the spirit of cooperation and responsibility of the experts and engineers of Tan Phuoc Thinh in the construction of this building.
Building “4 numbers of 9” – Symbol of quality and development
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Pham Van Triem – Chairman of the Board of Tan Phuoc Thinh Construction and Investment JSC. shared about the special significance of this project impressively. He emphasized that the PVDrilling office building can be called “the building of 4 numbers of 9” because of the symbolic numbers:
- The construction progress is 450 days, which 4 x + 5 = 9 points.
- The actual time that Tan Phuoc Thinh completed was 414 days, which 4 + 1 + 4 = 9 points.
- The project is 36 days ahead of schedule, which means 3 + 6 = 9 points.
- Three times of 9 points is 27, and 2 + 7 = 9 points, creating a project that meets the “4 number 9” standard – a symbol of quality and perfection.

Mr. Triem also emphasized that: “This new office has a total value of more than 50 billion VND, equivalent to about 2 million USD. This is not a small number. The project is not only the pride of PVD Offshore but also highly appreciated by public opinion.”
At the end of his speech, Mr. Pham Van Triem expressed his hope: “With this ‘golden building with 4 numbers of 9’, PVD Offshore and PV Drilling will produce more ‘gold bars with 4 numbers of 9’, improve the lives of workers, contribute to the economic development of Ba Ria – Vung Tau province and support social security work in the locality.”

PV Drilling office building is located on an area of over 3,800m² at No. 61, 30/4 Street, Thang Nhat Ward, Vung Tau City, including a 6-storey main building and auxiliary works such as a guest house and canteen.
