On the afternoon of April 14th, 2023, the Trade Union Base of Tan Phuoc Thinh Construction and Investment Joint Stock Company held a trade union base congress for the term 2023-2028. Attending the Congress were Mr. Phan Xuan Tuan – Vice Chairman of the Trade Union of Construction Industry of BRVT province; Mrs. Nguyen Tuyet Ha – General Director of TPT; Mr. Pham Van Trien – Deputy General Director of TPT, members of the Executive Committee of TPT’s Trade Union and 45 delegates representing 62 union members and employees of the Company

According to the trade union activities summarizing report for the IV term and the direction and tasks for the V term 2023-2028, the Company’s trade union base currently has 62 members participating in activities. During the last term the company’s union members and employees have grown in both quantity and quality in the condition of the unit’s many changes during the transfer process. With the roles and functions of trade unions, trade unions base has basically fulfilled their responsibilities as representative organizations, taking care of protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and employees. The material and spiritual life of union members and workers has been gradually raised; Trade union movement activities are becoming more and more exciting, quality and effective.
In addition, TPT’S Trade union base regularly monitors, captures and promptly resolves questions of employees, participates in inspecting and supervising the implementation of policies and regimes for employees, coordinating with Company leaders exchange and dialogue with union members and employees, especially in signing labor contracts, solving some proposals and recommendations of trade union members, contributing to stabilizing the situation in the labor union units.
However, the Executive Committee of the Trade Union also frankly acknowledged some exitings shortcomings and limitations in the process of organization and operation such as: Propaganda and education to raise political and legal awareness among union members and employees. labor in general has not been really creative in the form of propaganda and education; Trade Union activities have been active but not much creativity. They have not attracted a large number of union members to participate, etc. Since then, the Executive Committee of TPT’s Trade Union has analyzed the causes, drawn experience and set out directions, goals and tasks for the term 2023-2028.

Attending and directing the congress, Mr. Phan Xuan Tuan – Vice Chairman of the Trade Union of Construction Industry of BRVT province highly appreciated and praised the efforts of TPT’s Trade Union in the last term. It can be affirmed that the trade union base of the company has successfully completed the tasks set out by the Resolution of the 4th Congress. In the near future, Mr. Phan Xuan Tuan suggested that the trade union base of the Company continue the great job of thoroughly grasping the Party’s resolutions, the State’s laws and policies, the key tasks assigned by the superior trade union. More than that, they have to do a good job of taking care of and protecting the legitimate rights of employees through participating in the development of internal regulations and well organize emulation movements, promote production activities at the unit, etc.
The Executive Committee of the Trade Union Base needs to proactively and actively capture the minds, aspirations and stability of minds of the union members in order to unite and work together to successfully achieve the targets and tasks of the corporation and the company.
